Growing up

Lauren’s reached the point where lots of stuff is fun, so she spends a lot of time being excited. For her this means flapping her arms up and down and going ‘aaaaaaghhhh!’ She particularly likes being thrown in the air, chewing phone cords, having her neck nuzzled, and having her dad rub her belly with his short haircut.

She’s also started eating cheerios, which is an American tradition. They’re a small round breakfast cereal, kind of like a wheat polo (if that makes sense). She has to think hard, and they often end up somewhere other than her mouth, but she’s determined to feed herself and this is the best option at the moment. She doesn’t like drinking from baby cups either.
