Portland

We got back from Portland yesterday, having spent over a week in the rainy city. Claire was organising a conference there, so was busy for a lot of the time, so I got to be with Lauren a lot. She coped really well with the trip, the hotel and all the disruption, though for some reason she hated every second we spent in the famed Japanese Garden there.

Lauren has just started to take a few steps if you hold her, though direction is pretty random at the moment. She can pull herself up to standing, though she often starts too far away from her support, and ends up on her feet but bent double.
