Health Update

Sam developed a rash under his lip on Monday, and as he has eczema I wasn’t sure what to do with it.  A trip to the doctor got him a general recommendation for skin cream, plus a prescription for some antibiotics as it looked somewhat inflamed. This morning we phoned the doctor and took him in for a look, as we weren’t sure whether what we could see was an allergic reaction to the medicine, a flare-up of the eczema, or chicken-pox. Turns out it was the pox, so he’s now on anti-inflammatory stuff as well. I’m tempted to take it back though – I was warned it would make him very drowsy, and judging by the way bedtime just went that’s false advertising.
