Pirates

We went to Lauren’s first public assembly this morning.  Her year did a short play about pirates, and she was one of about 7 narrators.  She did a fantastic job, speaking out clearly without being put off by the microphone that was being used.  Claire cried a little, even before Lauren started.  In fact she started even before the play started, just at the sight of her little girl.

Highlight of the show: A little girl coming out and declaring “Year 1 will now do a pirate dance” in such a way that you could almost hear “…anybody got a problem with that?” afterwards.
