Grading

Both of the kids have been explaining about where they fit in the grading system used to assess all pupils (beyond their expected level, as it happens). I remember knowing that I was in the top set for ‘streamed’ subjects, but nothing like this level of detail. Fortunately they don’t seem concerned by it, perhaps in part because we always focus on effort (what they do) rather than brains (something they happen to have).
