Differences

Claire will be starting a new job soon at the University of Southampton, which amongst other things means giving her company car back. In anticipation of this we’ve bought a new (to us) Mk3 MX5, following extensive discussions on what to get (I said we were getting one, Claire realized she wasn’t going to win this one). The kids are divided. Sam was initially somewhat sceptical but rather likes it, and is looking forward to going for a drive this weekend. Lauren is not impressed at all, saying it’s got a big bum, is ugly, and would look better if someone took a hammer to it. We’ll see how she feels when (if) the sun shines this weekend and we can take the roof down.
