It’s time for Lauren to start deciding her GCSE options. This has the potential for conflict, as I have higher (though well grounded) expectations of her than she does of herself. I think we’re agreed on just about everything except for science – being a traditionalist I’d rather she did Physics + Chemistry + Biology, where Lauren would rather do the new-fangled ‘double science’. We’ll see…
