Sam is well underway at high school now, so we had his first substantive parents evening last week. He’s been doing really well, especially in science (his teacher, who is also Lauren’s form tutor, “couldn’t be chuffeder”) and in English (“Sam and I share jokes that nobody else gets”). There were one or two mentions of him being a bit quiet, though not to the same extent that we here for Lauren, but overall everyone was very happy to have him in their class.
