Aquarium

We went for a short stay in Chicago with Andy and Emma this weekend. Lauren had a great time watching the fishes at the aquarium (“Ish! Ish!”), and quite enjoyed people-watching in general. During the dolphin show she joined in the clapping of those around her, despite not really knowing what was going on. I think one of her favourite bits was sitting on the couch in our hotel room on Sunday, eating Ben & Jerry’s for breakfast (we did give her good stuff as well). She came down with a cold on Saturday, so she’s a bit miserable at the moment. On the bright side it meant she slept through most of the trip back (about 7 hours driving).

And we just found out that my cousin Sam is engaged to David. Lauren would be excited if she knew who these people were.
