Lauren is enjoying having her Grandma visit. After some initial hesitation when she first got here from the airport, Lauren will now go to her very happily. We’ll see what happens when Mum goes back.

I had some food that Lauren wanted a couple of days ago, and in her normal way she handed over her dummy as part of an equitable exchange. For some reason (not cruelty) I didn’t give her the food. She waited, then took her dummy back before giving it to me again. The implication was clear – I give you the dummy, you give me your food.

She has caught on to more advanced methods now, and just takes the food out of my mouth. Good preparation for when I start losing shirts I guess.
