Yes, No, Maybe

Lauren can now understand questions and answer appropriately (e.g. what do you want for breakfast?) Last night Claire was telling her the story of Cinderalla. She’d got to the bit where the fairy godmother works her magic, and said “Can you get me a pumpkin and six white mice?” and Lauren shook her head and made her ‘no’ sound.

Interestingly she has three responses to questions – a nod and a ‘ess’ sound, a shake and ‘oh’ sound, or a wobble and an ‘eergh’ sound when she doesn’t understand.
