Da-de!

Lauren has decided that she doesn’t really need to nap during the day, and it doesn’t seem to slow her down much in the evenings either. This is not a development Claire and I were pleased with.

Claire popped out yesterday. When I heard the car pulling onto the driveway I turned to the door and said “Who’s here? Who is it?” She ran to the door and said “Da-de!” I had to explain that ‘Daddy’ is the sound used to describe me, not the one for any person coming through the front door. I’m not sure she got it.
