Montessori

We had our first Parent-Teacher Conference this morning. Kim (the teacher) says that Lauren is doing really well, and she has no worries. We had a little time to see what Lauren does in class, and it’s remarkable how good she is. They have many structured games/puzzles they use, such as shaped blocks. Each time they get one they fetch the game, and a mat to put it on. Once they’re done they put the game and mat away, then decide what to do next. Kim says she wants to start Lauren with potty-training on Monday, which I find strangely unnerving.
