Tough Guy

Sam went for his 6 month checkup this morning. He’s down to 76th percentile for weight – 18lb 12.75oz (roughly). He’s 28″ long/tall, which is 95th percentile. His head was 18″ (also 95th percentile). Percentiles describe how he compares to the average child, so out of 100 random kids his age only 5 would be taller, and 24 heavier.

He had his injections, and cried but not in that breathless way that babies normally do, and within the minute it took Claire to pick him up and leave he was smiling at the nurse.
