Glasses

An update: Most children are slightly long-sighted, which they grow out of on their way to developing short arms as they reach middle age. Lauren is on the far edge of this, so it’s possible she’ll need glasses for a long time. For now the specialist thinks she’ll need the glasses until she’s around 10 – by that time the crossing should be gone, and they can decide if she needs the glasses just to correct her vision.
