Chores

The power of household chores is amazing! Last night Sam trapped his toes under a door – there was no damge but he was a little distressed. So I just pulled up a stool and he helped me to wash up. When that was finished he and Lauren sat on the floor with a bowl of water and played for about 20 minutes. Later as we were reading a story we were talking about letters. I asked Lauren if she could spell her name and in response she “sniffed”. It took me a minute to work out what she was doing.
