Lauren-e-ral

I was teaching Lauren Sam’s full name yesterday. Her first response was “Sam-e-ral?” She tried that a few times, then said “Like Lauren-e-ral?”

Sam isn’t talking yet, but he’s very definitely communicating. If you ask him a question he’ll nod and grunt if he agrees, or kind of flinch if he doesn’t. He’ll give you his cup if he’s thirsty, and best of all, if you ask him for a kiss he’ll turn towards you with his mouth open. Unfortunately he’ll normally also have a candle of snot running from his nose as well.
