Gender

We were driving along a few days ago, and Lauren was telling us about some female (can’t remember who, maybe a friend from school). One thing she said made us pause for a moment:

“She has long hair, because she’s a whore.”

We questioned this statement, and she confirmed the above. Naturally this was too good to miss out on:

“What about Mummy?”

“Yes, she’s a whore too.”

Further questioning led us to the truth. Lauren has been intrigued for some time with the difference in usage between ‘she’ and ‘her’. Mix that with a confused Minnesota-English accent and you get some questionable social commentary from a 3 year old; she was just pointing out that this person had long hair because she’s a her (i.e. a girl).
