School

I took Sam and Lauren to school today, as Claire had a class in the morning. We have an in-line (as opposed to side-by-side) double stroller, and it was very cute to see them sat in a line, each with their lunch bag clutched in one hand, as I wheeled them along.

Lauren went very confidently off to her classroom, and I had to invoke Daddy’s privilege to get a kiss goodbye. She did turn up a couple of minutes later to point out that her classroom was empty, so I took her to the other class until the teacher turned up. One of Sam’s classmates was bawling with impressive passion, and kept coming up to Sam. Sam found this more than a little unsettling, so when I left he was crying, but I think he was primed to get over it quickly.
