Splinter

Lauren has a splinter in her hand at the moment. It’s a really tricky one to remove, and apparently having us work on it is approximately as painful as having your entire hand amputated without drugs. On the very slightly cuter side, Lauren doesn’t really know how to be in pain (despite what she claims, we don’t generally hurt her) so she cries gently and goes “Owee, Owee!” as we try to extract the sliver.
