The family arrived back safely last night. Lauren has grown a little, and Sam has grown a lot. They are both more accomplished linguists, though the difference is obviously more noticeable with Sam. Lauren seems to be more polite at the moment, though that may just be down to tiredness; we’ll see how she does over the next few days. They both smiled when they saw me, in a tired but excited way, which was very pleasing.
