Love

Lauren was very keen to speak to me on the phone yesterday, and the only thing she wanted to say was that she loved me. I’m not sure how much of that she really understands, but I understand it well enough for both of us, so I’m happy.

Sleeping is still something of a challenge for them both, but Claire’s parents bought a baby monitor so they can now be locked in a room to go to sleep without risk. That sounds crueller than it is.
