Hair

We had an evening out yesterday while Lauren and Sam stayed with the Mogendorffs. Nice to have a break, and they enjoyed playing with Toby. But when we got back Lauren said “We missed you lots and lots.” Not sure where that came from, as I know she has a good time there and likes hanging out with Emma. But nice to hear anyway.

The kids had their hair cut at exhorbitant expense at a local kids-only hair emporium. It was fun to see them in proper barber’s chairs, with capes around them, having “a little off the top and clear of the ears, please” (for Sam at least). He now looks like a little boy, rather than Little Lord Fauntleroy as a baby. Lauren took it in stride, though she was very happy to get a pony tail from the deal.
