We went to parent-teacher conferences for Sam and Lauren yesterday. We didn’t have a lot to talk about really, as they’re both doing very well (according to the teachers as well as us). Sam is learning how to use words to tell people to back off, rather than pushing them. One of the girls in his class, India, tends to follow him round too much for his taste, so that’s an improvement. Lauren is starting in earnest on her writing; they work on writing first, then figure out how to read what they just wrote. Both were comlimented as being great to have in class.
