I put a pea up my nose!

We’re so very, very proud of him…We took Sam to the urgent care clinic last night, so the doctor could check to see if there really was a second pea stuck up Sam’s nose. Claire managed to get one out, but Lauren and Sam both claimed that there was another one up there. At least Sam did until the nurse asked him about it:

N: “What did you do?”

S: “I put a pea up my nose!”

N: “Is it still there?”

S: “No!”

He was very proud of his accomplishment – he protested at being weighed, and having his temperature taken, but was totally at ease as they shoved a scope into each nostril. And at the end, with just a little prompting, he said “Thank you Doctor!” which was cute. I guess.
