We’re all recovered from the visit of Janet, Tom, Jayne and Spencer a couple of weekends ago. The kids had been very excited to see Jayne and Spencer, having practised their ‘thumbs up’ gestures very studiously. Tom and Janet were effectively new to them, but they quickly got on fine. At one point Sam didn’t want Claire to get him out of his car seat, and when asked who should he pointed to Janet and said “That.”

Sadly the weekend was too short, but so far all four of our visitors are remembered, so the next time we see some or all of them Lauren and Sam should feel at home easily.
