Sleepover

Lauren and Sam had their first away-game sleepover on Friday, and apparently did very well. Lauren had to be helped to sleep, but only because she’d seen Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at school, so she couldn’t close her eyes because she would think about the scary movie. Otherwise they did fine, and when we picked them up there were no tears of relief. Not from the kids anyway.

In other news, I’d like to make note of the fact that while cycling with Sam on the back of the bike is tricky, doing it while he’s asleep and his head is hanging out the side of the seat and causing a lot more wind resistance is even harder.
