Party

We went to Toby’s birthday party at the weekend. Sam had a good time, centered on running round in big circles with other kids. Lauren had fun with that for a while, but after a time wanted to do something else. Claire suggested later that she gets bored, which makes sense; she does enjoy mindless shouting etc., but she tends towards more thoughtful activities. Fortunately one of her best friends (Emma, Toby’s mum) was on hand to do girly things involving pony tails, so everyone was happy.
