School

We went to see one of the two local infant schools last week, and all three of us were sufficiently impressed that Lauren is now signed up as a hedgehog (the name of the class).  The teachers and staff seem very caring and enthusiastic (more enthusiastic than Lauren is used to, in fact, which left her a little subdued), and it’s clear that Lauren will do well there.  She was particularly excited when we bought her the required book bag (though we may give the official uniform a miss as we don’t know how long she’ll be there, unfortunately).

Sam did express an opinion, being largely focused on capering and impressing people with his large eyes.
