Catching Up

So much has happened, which has meant I’ve been to busy to keep you, dear reader, up to date.  You see, I can only about the stuff that’s been happening when nothing much has been happening.  Anyway…

  • Sam was a shepherd in his schol play, looking very cute and doing a better job than his fellow herders at standing where he should.
  • We moved house, finally getting to live in our own home again.  Janet and Tom have been fantastic, but it’s good to be in our own place again.
  • I spent 6 hours building 3 beds from kits.  This wasn’t really a highlight, I just needed to tell someone.
  • Sam had a birthday, which featured lots of “Oh, I’d been wanting one of those!” to pretty much any present that came along.  Nana and Grandpa were there, so he had someone else to share the excitement with.
  • Grandma Flo is now visiting, so we have someone to watch the kids while we try to work out how to fit an American 3-bed detached house and the remains of a British 4-bed detached into a 3 bed semi.  Boxes, boxes everywhere.
  • Grandma, Grandad and Uncle Jon are due on Christmas Eve for a couple of days, and before that Uncle Simon should be dropping in to say hello and drop off some presents.
