Flute

Lauren has been accepted for flute lessons at school. £105 per year for lessons, plus what looks like £250 for a flute, has influenced some in-depth discussions on the nature of commitment. We considered renting (a flute, that is; we have enough children already), but the second-hand market seems sufficiently robust that I think it will be more economical to buy and then sell if needed, plus I hate fretting about breaking something that’s rented.
