New Bike

Lauren got a new bike this weekend (one of these). It’s rather expensive, but when I thought about the time I’d spend trying to keep a crappy bike properly tuned, and how much that might put her off cycling, it seemed worth it. I’m very impressed so far (as is Lauren); it’s noticeably lighter than a Halfords special, and the build quality is at least as good as my bikes. She’s still a smidge small for it, which is exaggerated by the frame geometry (it has full size wheels, but the saddle is still very low) but seems able to ride just fine. Now we need to persuade Sam that he can ride too.
