SATs

Update: For some reason I forgot to publish this when I wrote it, so now we know that Lauren did fine – no idea about her score, but she remained calm which was all I was interested in…

Lauren has SATs (exams) coming up, and has said that she’s a little nervous about them. She’s smart enough to do just fine at them, so we’re not concerned, but we’ve been working on calming her down. Claire pointed out that she’s actually done them before, she just wasn’t told what they were, and she did great. And I’ve explained that SATs might seem like they’re testing her, but really they’re testing the teacher, so while she should try her best there’s no reason to be worried. I can remember how important exams seemed as a kid, however, so we’ll see how she does.
