Catching Up

Haven’t posted for a while – for the one or two who don’t know anyway, my Mum (Grandma Flo) passed away early August, so the last 6 weeks or so have been rather draining. Kids handled it much as you might expect – Lauren cried for a few minutes, then basically forgot, and Sam said he was happy (I’d been living, literally, at the hospital for a week, so he was focused on the fact that I was now home). Things are now settling down, not least because today is the first day back at school. Report from Claire is: “All got off to school OK. I think Lauren was a bit anxious. And Sam was a bit worried about all the hard work he would be doing today”
