Lessons and Love

Lauren had her first flute lesson this week, as well as her first gymnastics class after school (but still at school). She’s very excited about both of these things, and I’m sure the novelty will remain with at least one of them for a good while.

In other academic news Sam has moved up to brown books, which is one step away from free reading (the highest level). More importantly for him, he’s deep into his first bromance with Charlie from down the street. Charlie is a year older than Sam, but about the same size and very similar in his philosophical outlook on life (i.e. he likes Star Wars).
