Trips

Lauren headed out for a two day residential trip with school last night (an hour late due to coach delays). She didn’t seem particularly nervous, probably because she’s done a couple of pack holidays, but as Claire and Janet have been on those this is her first time without family. Teachers are familiar, of course, so it should still all go smoothly.

Sam went on a nature trip with Beavers while Lauren was leaving, so he didn’t get to say a proper goodbye. He was somewhat sad at bedtime because Lauren wasn’t there; I think he missed the nightly ritual of squabbling before bed.
