New friends

We spent yesterday afternoon with a bunch of our neighbours enjoying a delayed Diamond Jubilee street party. A new family has moved into the Close, bringing with them a 4 year old girl. Lauren and Sam spent time playing with her (not least because she has a trampoline) and seemed to get on well. At one point the little girl walked up to her mum and said “Can my new friends play in our house?”, which prompted an “aww” from the grown-ups.
