I’m a bit behind, so here’s a quick catch-up on education. Lauren got an A in her AS level Psychology, and Sam got an A in his Statistics GCSE.

We’re now looking at the next steps for them both. Sam is considering Maths, Chemistry and Computer Science A levels. We’ve visited two local colleges so far, and his favourite is where Lauren currently is.

After some consideration Lauren has decided to study Law. I took her for an open day at the University of East Anglia last week, which impressed her as an institution and a course. She’s also visited the campuses (campi?) of York and Leeds, and we did a literal drive-through of Warwick a few weeks ago. Her final candidate is Exeter. In theory she has the predicted grades for any of them, so she’s working on her application now and we’ll see what offers come back.
